Recreation Insurance
ATV’s and Snowmobiles
Your home insurance policy may cover your recreational vehicles, but do not assume they are completely accounted for. Check with Porter and McMillan for your peace of mind.
For example campers and other vacation trailers are not covered. They need to be insured on a separate policy through ICBC with basic coverage that includes comprehensive and collision.
Dirt Bikes can only be insured through ICBC. Other recreational vehicles such as ATV’s and snowmobiles can be insured through ICBC or through a competitive private insurance market for liability, collision and comprehensive.
We have private competitive markets available that offer superior coverages with extensions such as emergency vacation coverage, additional personal belongings coverage.

There is a “blue book” price available from most dealers as well.
