Community Involvement
We have built our reputation on providing quality insurance products, and by being a proud community sponsor. Porter and McMillan supports youth athletics including, youth soccer, baseball and hockey teams. We are also a proud sponsor of the Community Foundation, Spirit of the North Foundation and the Festival of Trees.
Many of our staff at Porter and McMillan are involved in the Prince George community on their own. Their activities include being a foster parent, blood donors, soccer coach, members of Rotary, Team Representative of the Prince George Women’s Hockey League, Past President of the B.C. Indoor Soccer League, Director of St. Patrick’s House, Board member of the YMCA, President of Caledonia Adoptive Sport Society (Disabled Skiers Association), Alpine Canada, Walk for the Cure, Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice House, Theatre Northwest, B.C. Senior Games, Bob Harkins Fishing Derby, Alpine Ski Club, P.G. Track and Field Club, P.G. Ultimate Touring Team and the P.G. Ice Man.
